Teachers are constantly walking a fine line, especially in corporate language training programs. As a result of this, the need for coaching goes beyond normal language training. This is not just limited to the higher language levels (B2 to C2), but begins after the development of basic language skills at the A1 and A2 level. I see myself in this context as your contact for your foreign language needs and I work diligently on improving the required language skills for the client’s business needs.

Management Coaching

Coaching at a management level requires an adjustment of content based on the management level. The focus must be on increasing efficiency in language use, the avoidance of misunderstanding, choosing appropriate language, flexible expansion of vocabulary, strategic language use and competence through language proficiency. I am available as a coach "just in time", because specific support is often needed on short notice. To increase dynamic access, regular meetings are also scheduled via web-conference.

Team Coaching

In today’s business climate, it is becoming more common to work in multifunctional teams that are decentralized and are made up of different nationalities. To add to this complexity, not only does a company have its fixed corporate language, a multitude of different languages are spoken because of the nationalities of their employees. To create an efficient working atmosphere with regards to the choice of communication method, building and developing good communication is essential. For example developing dialogues, writing skills for chat and email, along with writing strategies for reports, assessments must share equal focus.

Intercultural Coaching

Having enough understanding of a language is not enough to be successful in international teams. Numerous examples show that the lack of integration was a result of misunderstandings of local work cultures and the cultural perception and its impact on communication. The key to success is bridging the gap between culture and language. I see myself in this context as a constantly accessible contact person for the inclusion and integration of international staff into the German working world.
